Public Option is the story of Matthew Stoss, who lost his job and apartment due to the pandemic, but was given a second chance when Bill, the owner of a very small local pub in Washington DC, allowed him to live in the bar rent free for six months while it was closed during lockdown. It's a wacky story about the ups and downs of living in a closed down bar, but reveals itself to be an intimate portrait of a community, and a poignant story about personal growth during tragedy.
WINNER- Silver- Non-Broadcast Documentary- Telly Awards
I was Director of Photography & Editor
